My Savage has about 1000 miles on it. When shifting from fourth to fifth gear, I sometimes feel a sticking or hesitation in the shift lever, i.e., a double click going into fifth. This doesn't always occur, and it doesn't seem to matter how long I've been riding. Has anyone else had this problem? Is it a problem? The dealer thinks it's just a matter of time before normal wear will eliminate the hesitation. Would anyone suggest a more direct action?
